“Some of the other campers had more severe
disabilities than mine. I was humbled and
honored in their presence. Lions
Camp
Tatiyee gives us wings to fly.”

“Lions
Camp
Tatiyee is a magical week of fun,
friendship and adventure. But for her and our family it goes beyond
that, our lives are all changed because Madilynn is more independent, more resilient,
and determinded to be her best self. Lions
Camp
Tatiyee changes the lives of these
campers, their families and the communities they live in. Because of
Camp
Tatiyee there is more compassion, more
hope for these children and their
families.
For our family the
result of our daughter’s attendance at Lions Camp Tatiyee has been nothing short of miraculous.
Because of the love, acceptance and support she receives at Lions
Camp Tatiyee, from the staff, counselors
and campers she is realizing her full potential on a daily
basis.”

“After singing him in with Pam and her crew, I look for
him to say good-bye but he is already off with his friends, How happy that makes me, because I know that he
will be safe, have the time of his life and not miss me because he
is having so much fun. I not only get to have a wonderful rest, but
I have the joy of knowing he is at Lions Camp Tatiyee a place that has made such a difference
in his life. It has given him self-confidence, a feeling of
importance and belonging. Thank you seems so small for all you’ve
given him, so we send our love
too!”

“Being a single
mother is a challenge emotionallyand
financially. Thank you Lions for letting my son have a magic week
every year. What a glorious week he has at Lions Camp Tatiyee! Days that fly by rather than drag
along, the joys of summer camp silliness and fun, counselors who
understand and kids who don’t tease! For one week every year, Toby
is surrounded by acceptance and friends.”
~Wendy Carroll
“This year I almost didn’t want to tell people about the
camp, afraid that we won’t be able to get in! These fears come from
the fact that your counselors are so wonderful and remember the kids
so well and seem so informed on each child that they add a personal
touch that many camps do not offer. I am never worried while Seth is
at your camp because I know he is in some of the best hands
around!”

Grogan I am now 33yrs old. I was a camper in the late
80's. and when I did go to camp I was in heaven. It was so nice
to be amoung my own peers and I made lots of frieds. The staff
is tops, best around. When the camp says they promote
independence they mean it. I have since gone on in my life and
I live on my own and someday hope to open my own independent
living center for people with disabilities as well. I
could have never been as independent as I am today or have the
drive to succeed with out the support and love of this camp. I
will always be a supporter of Camp Tayitee. Heaven
on
earth!!!
